Assam scooty scheme – The Govt prepare took an initiative step and introduce a plan known as AHSEC Scooty Scheme under Pragyan Bharati Yojana. The Assam Higher Secondary Educational Council (AHSEC) prepare list every year of young ladies understudies of class 12th. The meritorious students will get scooty/bike. Last year, the Council shortlisted around 22000 girl students. The AHSEC council chooses girl students every year and the Government will provide scooty or monetary assistance to buy scooty/bike.
Pragyan Bharati Scheme objective – The main motive of this scheme better resources to the girl students who have been studying in the Assam state. To encourage girl students for higher study. Also, to help them in traveling.

Keeping in mind the safety of girls, the Assam government has started this scheme. So that girls can move safely from home to college and college to home.
Assam Free Scooty Scheme List 2024
There are various benefits of the Pragyan Bharti Assam scheme –
- The Govt will provide free textbooks, uniform, and all other necessities which are required to go to school to the needy students.
- Assam Govt will provide Rs 1000 to 1 lakh students for textbooks.
- Rs 1500 to Rs 2000 textbook incentive will be provided for students at the graduate and postgraduate students.
- Rs 1000 per month will all students towards their mess dues. Scooters would be provided to approx 20000 female students every year.
- Free admission will also be applicable for courses like medical, engineering and polytechnic.
- One time loan subsidy of Rs 50000 will be provided.
Eligibility criteria –
- The applicant must be permanent resident of Assam state.
- Free scooty scheme only for female students.
- The students must secured first division in the class 12th.
- The students must be studying in a Govt school of Assam.

Register yourself and create login ID and password.
Use credentials for login – Enter Roll no, Registration number, contact details.
After that complete, the procedure, upload the supporting documents.
