पहले बोर्ड ने तैय किया था दसवीं की परीक्षा मई के महीने में आयोजित की जाएँगी जिसके लिए टाइम टेबल भी जारी किया था. परन्तु कोरोना महामारी के संक्रमित केस बहुत ज्यादा बढ़ने लगे (The COVID cases spiked in March and April month. So the board decided to postponed the exams). इसीलिए अजमेर बोर्ड ने परीक्षा स्थगित कर दिया. अगर परीक्षा आयोजित की जाती तो लाखों विद्यार्थी कोरोना की चपेट में आ सकते थे और कोरोना महामारी की रोक पाना मुश्किल हो जाता. जैसे ही सब सामान्य हो जायेगा परीक्षा आयोजित की जाएँगी.
